RE-OPENING OF OUR OFFICE AFTER THE CORONAVIRUS COVID-19 HOME LOCK-DOWN
Our office at Castle Chambers, 49 High Street, Rothesay, Isle of Bute has re-opened. We will be operating under the Covid-19 Government Guidelines.
Please wear a face covering.
Only one person or couple will be permitted in our waiting area.
Appointments must be pre-booked.
For estate agency, in line with the Scottish Government Guidelines physical viewings will only take place for seriously interested parties who must first have seen the Schedule, Home Report and any virtual viewing available. Viewings must be booked at least 24 hours in advance. All viewers must wear a face covering, must be from one household and adhere to social distancing throughout the viewing. Viewers must not touch any surface in the property and must use anti-bacterial hand gel immediately before and after viewing the property. They must also sign our viewing declaration that neither they nor members of their household at the time of the viewing have any of the Covid-19 symptoms nor are required to self isolate. No children will be permitted to attend viewings unless this is arranged in advance and only in exceptional circumstances. All viewers must provide us with up to date proof of ID both photographic and showing their current address before they will be allowed to view.
From 1st July 2020 the ferry operator Cal Mac will be has increased its service both for Wemyss Bay - Rothesay and for Colintraive - Rhubodach to a winter timetable and non essential travel to the island is now permitted. It is hoped it will further increase its services from 15th July.
Our legal services include conveyancing, Wills, Powers of Attorney and executries.
We will continue to review our policy as government guidelines alter.
